Express Entry manages three programs — Federal Skilled Worker, Federal Skilled Trades, and the Canadian Experience Class. Each has its own minimum requirements for work experience, language and education. Before spending money on tests, check which one you could qualify under.
Why it's required: If you don't meet the minimums of at least one program, a profile can't be submitted, and the fees you paid for tests and assessments aren't refunded.
